Puppy info

The Irish Setter Club with its members and breeders are responsible for inter alia, health and character of the Irish Setter.
Our breeders should adhere to the breeding rules of the Irish Setter Club which incidentally are more stringent than the general regulations of the KMSH up to which of course they also need to adhere. Our breeding rules can be found on our website under Regulations.

In our published mating and birth messages, the parents meet all requirements of our breeding regulations (including DNA testing, HD, etc.).
The FAC visits the breeders to control the litter when the puppies are 8 weeks old.
The responsibility for the puppies bred lies at all times with the breeder of the litter and not with the Irish Setter Club.
